BGM AFD
.AVIATION /03Z TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...
Snow showers have moved through the area bit quicker than
expected and therefore the only terminal likely to see any
restrictions from these after 18Z will be KRME (TEMPO for there
until 19Z). KBGM may briefly see a snow shower between 18Z and
19Z, but this is expected to mainly remain north of that
terminal and therefore not produce restrictions at this time.
Otherwise, conditions are expected to remain mainly VFR this
afternoon before some MVFR ceilings move in tonight for some of
the Central NY terminals. Lake effect snow is expected to remain
well north of KRME tonight and most of tomorrow.
Westerly winds with occasional gusts up to 20kts are possible at
times through the period.
Outlook...
Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday night...Blustery with lake
effect snow showers/occasional restrictions at the Central NY
terminals, especially KRME-KSYR.
Thursday through Thursday night...Clipper system with snow
showers and restrictions for most of the area Thursday,
then possible lake effect showers Thursday night KSYR-KRME.
Friday...Mainly VFR.
Saturday...A wintry mix may bring some restrictions.
